IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
(Remote 1-2 days a week) MONTGOMERY, AL
Overview:
We're looking for an IT Support Specialist who enjoys solving problems and helping others. Your role will be to provide day-to-day technical support for our team, ensuring that our systems run smoothly. You should be comfortable working with a range of technologies, particularly in the Microsoft ecosystem, and eager to learn new ones.
Experience/Skills Needed: 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field. Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 and Teams. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet. A passion for learning and keeping up with the latest technology trends. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office software (Microsoft Office, etc.). Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues. Set up and maintain workstations, printers, and other office equipment. Assist with the installation and configuration of new software and updates, with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Teams. Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure they are up to date. Collaborate with the IT team and other departments to enhance technology processes and improve the overall user experience.
