Cognos Architect

Duration : 6+ Months (Extendable Contract)

Location : NYC

Overall around 15 years of experience

Extensive hands-on full life-cycle experience with Cognos reporting Suite

Strong hands on experience in Cognos 8.5, Cognos 10 and above

Extensive experience in Cognos Framework Manager • Extensive experience with Cognos reporting tools suite; Report Studio, Cognos SDK

Strong SQL development skills

Extremely good database development experience

Dimensional Modeling experience is a plus

Strong abilities in requirements Gathering, User interaction and designing data model based on the requirements.

Experience analyzing end user requirements, performing data analysis and developing reporting specifications

Experience in creating complex Stored Procedures, Tables, Views, Materialized Query tables, Indexes and SQL

Experience in Architectural design for BI Reporting

Have extensive experience with logical and Physical data modeling

Have in-depth expertise on one of the leading RDBMS technologies like ORACLE, MSSQL
