Swoon is partnering with a global leader in industrial equipment and solutions to hire a Project Manager supporting their Advanced Electrical Services division in Alpharetta, GA. This is an exciting one-year contract opportunity (with strong potential to extend or convert) where you’ll lead aftermarket operations for high-voltage switchgear systems. Join a dynamic team driving critical post-shipment initiatives—ranging from preventative maintenance to system retrofits—while collaborating across engineering, field service, and production to deliver high-impact electrical service solutions.

Initial one-year Project Manager (Electrical Services/Aftermarket Operations) opportunity
Duration:
Initial one-year contract with high potential to extend/convert based on performance
Location:
onsite in Alpharetta, GA
Pay Rate:
$45-47/hr W2, open to C2C, Self-Corporation candidate as well
Team Details:
Advanced electrical services division
Aftermarket/AES unit - responsible for all things post-shipment
Troubleshoot
Preventative maintenance
Upgrades
Retrofits
9 people on team
Lots of different projects and initiatives going on
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Order-entry through closeout
Managing financials - cost and budget management and tracking in made-to-manage software
Backlog report - review every week - current costs relative to estimated costs
Managing schedules
Working with dealer counterparts
Work procedures
Invoicing
Change order management and negotiation (scope management)
Working with purchasing team within business
Submittal prep on day-to-day
Internal meetings with cross-functional teams - engineering, production, field service
Customer-facing needs - dealership and end user for kickoff meeting with them
Looking for:
Dealing with cross-functional teams
Managing projects end-to-end
Office 365
Good communication
Industry/project exp - construction would be good, project management where they have to coordinate work with multiple trades
