Overview

We are seeking a junior web developer to be part of a team that is applying some of the latest web technologies to existing websites. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, analytical, and coding skills and be able to transform requirements into desired features. The ability to successfully research and apply modern web technologies and techniques is fundamental to the position. Responsibilities

Envision, design, code, test and maintain web applications, while being open to suggestion and collaboration Understand and implement complex web development concepts within reasonable timeframes Work with other technical team members to determine approaches to new features Work within source control utilizing branching, merging, code review, and proper check-in procedures, and to maintain accountability for progress Remain attentive to emerging web technologies & trends and apply them to our products Participate in Agile/Scrum workflow process to meet sprint release schedules Skills Required

Has up to 0 - 2 years of web development experience using the following (or similar) technologies: HTML/Javascript, CSS, JQuery, Angular (or other typescript), RestAPI, WebServices, Bootstrap, C#, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, WebForms, and MS SQL Server. The ability to successfully research and apply modern web technologies, techniques, and security principles is fundamental to the position Passion for architecting and writing well designed, maintainable code, and to learn from this valuable experience Excellent communication and collaboration skills Is interested in expanding technical skills in a friendly, collaborative environment U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain the proper security clearance is required Salary range: $62,000-$75,000/year depending on experience and qualifications

Education

A bachelor's degree in computer science (or other relevant concentration) required. An additional three years of directly relevant software development experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
