About the role:

This position works in direct cooperation with the Operations Supervisor for Residential MSW, as well as the Director of Operations. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely distribution of cart and container delivery and removal on an assigned route.

Responsibilities: Do a pretrip in the morning add fluids if needed. Oil, Power steering fluid, Anti-freeze. Fill out VCR properly Check the load to make sure secure. Load and unload truck safely. Grab the tablet and sign into it and start the route. Leave the yard by 6:30 am Make cart deliveries, removals and exchanges as assigned in Routeware throughout the day according to the customer list in the tablet. You may have bulk to pick up daily as well use lift gate to pick up all bulk items. At the end of your route make sure you clear with dispatch as they may need you to help with other cart routes to help them get finished. At the end of the day remove all bulk items at our transfer station. And remove all carts at our shop. Sweep out the back of the truck and see dispatch for you cart list for the next day. Load carts for the next day. Fuel up the truck and park it in its spot Do post trip on the truck Finish filing out the VCR make sure you write clearly if there are any issues. Plug in your tablet turn in your VCR and punch out for the day Other duties as assigned. Heavy interaction with Operational Management and Blaine drivers. Management of daily documentation from drivers, to include processing and verifying accuracy. Use of software to manage time and attendance, safety, supply chain, and data entry and reporting tools. Relates relevant operational information to appropriate stakeholders on a daily basis. Initiates outbound calls to customers while drivers are on-site/location, resolving pick-up and other issues. Troubleshoots and resolves potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues. Communicates with maintenance shop personnel and serves as an emergency point of contact for down wires and other issues. Job Requirements:

Class A or B CDL License with no air brake restriction. Valid Driver's License Clean Driving Record Mapping Skills 18 years of age or older & eligible to work in the US. High school Diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and sitting for long periods of time

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT health evaluation, and physical assessment.

• This is a safety-sensitive position subject to drug testing requirements in compliance with 49 CFR Part 382, this does include marijuana testing.
