Description Leidos is excited to invite applications for the role of

Senior Engineering Technologist , where you will play a pivotal role in providing project and administrative support for electric utility design engineering. This position operates in a hybrid format, requiring some time to be spent in the Seattle, WA office while also offering flexibility for remote work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electric distribution projects for electric utilities and a solid understanding of permitting processes. Key Responsibilities: Administer and generate Joint Use fines. Manage transfer notifications through Alden One. Create and assign SCL WAMS asset numbers for new assets and projects. Intake, process, and manage engineering as-builts. Handle ROW permitting applications across various jurisdictions. Process and approve customer applications. Investigate Alden One and WAMS for pole replacement work orders related to the Double Pole project. Oversee Master Pole Attachment Agreements and maintain Certificates of Insurance for over 150 Wireline customers. Compile billing reports for accounting to issue invoices to Joint Use customers. Collaborate with Cost Accounting and P&CM for accurate assignment of invoices to billable work orders. Issue permits for Joint Use and Wood Pole Design Team, ensuring compliance with regulations. Conduct thorough research and take necessary actions to effectively resolve customer complaints. Create and maintain internal and external reports and metrics. Generate reports to identify work orders ready for closure in WAMS. Monitor and address Customer Called completes, managing a backlog of inspections and overdue customer final close-outs. Research and plot quarter section maps, with the ability to work in varying weather conditions. Background Requirements: Completed Associate's degree or higher. Minimum of 5 years of project coordination, administrative, or closely related experience. Preference for candidates with direct experience in an electric utility or consulting environment related to electric utilities. Possession of reliable transportation, as in-office work is required. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience with customer-facing responsibilities. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
