Position Introduction/Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking a
Cyber Tools Lead
to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, CO area.
Key Duties:
Work with hardware engineers, software engineers, and test teams to develop, test, and deploy cyber tools for compliance initiatives. Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain cyber tools such as ACAS, ESS, EVAL/STIG, ArcSight, Delinea, and Elastic. Consolidate and analyze reports from cyber tools to support compliance and remediation efforts. Coordinate actions with internal teams, external stakeholders, and leadership to execute tasks with minimal mission impact. Conduct assessments of information systems security requirements and recommend remediation priorities. Evaluate system architecture and infrastructure to identify security requirements and vulnerabilities. Support security planning, risk analysis, certification, and compliance activities for CLAW systems. Prepare documentation and gather data related to patching and STIG implementation. Coordinate with the ISSO, O&M team, and Cyber Vulnerability Management Team to meet cyber requirements. Lead and coordinate efforts to address security controls for Cyber Validation Tests (CVTs), Cybersecurity Vulnerability and Penetration Assessments (CVPAs), and Authorization to Operate (ATOs). Brief government and contract leadership professionally and concisely. Train and mentor cyber tools engineers to ensure compliance with DoD and organizational standards. Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. Active Secret Clearance (or higher). 10 or more years of general full-time experience. 4 or more years of Cyber Security and/or IT experience. Familiarity with eMASS, CTOs, ATOs, and POAMs. Experience consolidating reports from cyber tools such as ACAS, ESS, ArcSight, and EVAL/STIG. Experience with STIGs, patching processes, and interpreting Security Classification Guides. Possess a current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (ex., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+). Associate degree in an Information Technology discipline.
