Project Manager
Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the project teams in the development of multiple multi-family projects.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist the design team in the development of the construction drawings for assigned projects Provide input during the design process on constructability, budget , and schedule Assist with permitting and plan review process , including coordination with local utility providers Develop the subcontractor and vendor list for assigned projects Manage the bidding process , including initial cost estimate, bid solicitation, compilation of bids received, and preparation of the final cost estimate Negotiate and prepare all contracts and purchase orders Directly monitor assigned projects and Project Superintendents in their daily tasks Allocate resources for assigned projects Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, government officials, equity investors and lenders Administer all construction contracts and purchase orders Review and confirm approval of all subcontractor progress payments and project invoices Review subcontractor and vendor progress reports for accuracy Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards. Drive the closeout process , including local and state inspections, punch list completion and user training Travel to jobsites as needed to coordinate the work on assigned projects Job Requirements
2+ years of project management experience, including management of multi-family residential and/or senior-housing projects Minimum educational requirement is a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a construction management or engineering program Demonstrate extensive knowledge of construction safety and represent strong safety values Use effective verbal and written communication skills. Must be an effective communicator. Utilize strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel MUST have Procore experience Position requires travel to the Austin, TX corporate office once a month and daily travel to job sites in Dallas, TX BENEFITS
