A candidate for this job should have a desire to work in a team that is evolving around next generation cloud-friendly solutions and practices. We are looking for an individual to provide technical guidance and leadership. In this role, you will need to gain a deep understanding of business and recommend Architectural solutions. This candidate must be comfortable preparing Conceptual and High-Level technical design documents by working closely with the business product owners, technical Leads and solution Owners to design a future focus solution.

Responsibilities

Responsible for end-to-end architectural integrity and the relationship with other projects within the business space

Understand latest architecture, technology, solutions, and industry trends

Serve as part of the team which is responsible for high level architecture and design of project solution

Consider various proposals of technical solution based on customer requirements, product knowledge and system processes

Conceptualize solutions and have problem solving skills, that address customer opportunities and issues

Evaluate business, information, application, and technology views of the solution approach and identify risks

Contribute to Cardinal Health's enterprise architecture standards; advocate the adoption of Cardinal Health standard project frameworks, methodologies, and procedures

Translate complex business processes and strategy into technical solutions through requirements definition and architectural design

Document overall strategic vision and create architecture proposals based on identified solution gaps

Provide architectural advice, planning guidance, quality assurance, and guidance to the project team on project approach and solution

Compile intellectual property and tools from other past solutions that can be developed into best practices or for reuse

Provide technical leadership and is responsible for the delivery of the technical architectural design, strategies and plans that will be delivered on an ongoing basis

Ability to influence stakeholders, project team members on proposed design solutions which may set precedence

Has an innovation mindset, ability to explore, identify, influence analytical and automation opportunities across business functions and processes to drive solution delivery and achieve enterprise digital goals

Control/minimize technical debt through more strategic solutioning

Promote collaboration and engagement

Participate in every stage of the application lifecycle

Participate actively on reviewing end-to-end solution processes

Qualifications

At least 8+ Years of total industry experience preferred

Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Minimum of 5+ years of programming and application development experience including one or more of the following technologies: JAVA and/or .net, Micro Service

Experience with Micro Service Architecture and Event Driven Architecture implementation

Experience with cloud computing and Data storage is required, which includes either of below and beyond.: AWS, GCP, Azure,GCP, Tanzu, Kubernetes are preferred

Experience with optimized relational database design patterns and query building

Excellent presentation and written communication skills, with the: ability to translate and clearly formulate articulate technical issues to both business stakeholders and other technologists.

Strong consultative skills at a cross functional level Analysis level UML, activity diagrams, business use cases, business rules, and system level features

Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF is preferred) Broad based platform and technical exposure and complete software development lifecycle perspective

Good analytical, organizational skills

Strong project and team management skills

Experience in Spark programming is highly desirable

Experience with integrating packaged applications like SAP, SalesForce is preferred

Data analysis experience preferred

Familiarity with Data & Analytics platforms such as GCP BigQuery, GCS, Tableau is desirable

Anticipated salary range:

$121,600 - $182,385
