NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.

We are looking for a

part-time, 2nd Shift

Label Line Lead

to assist the Warehouse Supervisor with coordinating daily management of all label-line activities. This role will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflow of labeling Brite stock according to individual customer requirements; works with production planning, shipping and label-line employees to ensure product is available in inventory, labeled accurately and available to ship on time at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA. This is a part-time position (full-time during pack season, July - October, and when running production off season; part-time the rest of the year).

Key Responsibilities:

Works with and communicates daily with warehouse and labeling staff. Reviews daily orders to ensure the product is available, labeled accurately and available to ship on time, and audits outbound orders for accuracy. Performs daily maintenance check at the beginning of the shift. Keeps constant checks on equipment to produce the greatest daily line efficiencies. Directs all crew members in a manner that will produce the greatest number of cases. Requirements :

At least 5 years of experience on labeling equipment; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that exhibits the ability to perform the position. At least 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role. Forklift certification. Ability to work 2nd Shift, 2 pm - 10:30 pm, and train 1st shift the first two weeks, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, and work extended hours and weekends during the fresh pack season, typically July to November. Compensation:

The hourly union wage is $23.80- $25.04, based on experience and qualifications; plus, a 2nd shift differential of $.50.
