Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager with demonstrated success in leading large-scale, multi-million-dollar federal contracts. The ideal candidate possesses a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and has proven experience delivering results across complex, multi-functional government programs. This role requires a combination of strategic planning, contract oversight, client engagement, and team leadership to ensure program goals, timelines, and budgets are met.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

Oversee the full lifecycle of federal government programs from initiation through execution and closeout. Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, ensuring alignment of program goals with mission objectives. Lead cross-functional teams, including technical, administrative, and subcontractor personnel, to meet project milestones and deliverables. Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality of multiple concurrent projects within a broader program structure. Develop and maintain detailed program documentation including work breakdown structures (WBS), integrated master schedules (IMS), and risk registers. Prepare and present regular status reports, performance metrics, and program reviews to senior leadership and client stakeholders. Ensure compliance with contract requirements, government regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS), and internal policies and procedures. Identify and mitigate program risks while proactively managing scope changes and corrective actions. Support proposal development and business capture efforts related to contract growth and re-competes. Perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), contract types, and procurement processes. Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management tools Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, or a related field, AND 15+ years practical experience managing federal government contracts & programs Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months from hiring. Must be a US citizen. Ability to travel required (Not to exceed 25% of total quarterly work time) Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or related field. 8+ years of program or project management experience, with 5+ years managing federal government contracts valued at $10M+. Experience managing contracts for Federal agencies. Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $125,000 - $140,000 annually.
