Direct hire opening for Mechanical Assemblers on both 1st and 2nd shift!
The Mechanical Assembler will work from blueprints, specs, shop orders, etc., to assemble sub-assemblies and then install into the equipment being built. This will involve fabricating parts, both metal and wood, using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers and more, operating overhead cranes and similar.
Pay range will be $22-$26/hr. depending on experience. There is currently an opening on both 1st and 2nd shift with a $1/hr. shift differential for 2nd shift.
1st shift runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. 2nd shift runs Monday through Friday, 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
This position will require 5 weeks of travel annually which could be local, regional, national or international. Great paid perks with the travel!!

To be successful in this role, the Mechanical Assembler will have: Training can be provided! -Some mechanical background - this could include maintenance, construction, machine building or similar -Basic math skills including metric conversions -Ability to travel up to 5 weeks/yr domestically and/or internationally -Must have or be able to obtain basic hand tool set
