Business Analyst
Location: Onsite, ClientLean, VA
Business Analyst to support Mortgage Servicing System Modernization Program. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the mortgage servicing domain and experience in Agile delivery environments. This role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping current and future state processes, managing JIRA workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements • Conduct analysis and documentation of non-functional requirements for change initiatives by collaborating with cross functional teams • Understand the end to end testing scope, map flow of events and identify testing scenarios for validation • Manage prod defect resolution by coordinating with product owners and other stakeholders to ensure timely fixes • Solid business analysis experience with hands-on expertise in Jira and confluence • Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos • Coordinate with product and technology teams to ensure proper understanding of requirements • Perform gap analysis and support UAT planning and execution • Ensure traceability of requirements and maintain documentation as per program standards Required Skills & Qualifications: • 5-7 years of experience as a IT Business Analyst in financial services • IT BA experience in mortgage loan servicing preferred but not mandatory • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile project environments • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and documentation of user stories and functional specifications • Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business and technical stakeholders • Self-starter with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
