Job Description About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Lead IT Network Architect - Consultant

to join a large-scale IT infrastructure and operations team supporting enterprise network and firewall systems. This role will involve working directly with cross-functional technical teams and project stakeholders to drive successful delivery and ongoing maturation of IT network and server infrastructure.

This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment focused on innovation, operational efficiency, and strategic IT transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and install network hardware/software to meet industry and organizational standards Conduct diagnostics, forecast performance thresholds, and analyze network efficiency Monitor and report on network traffic, usage, and performance Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems Recommend and design network improvements and provide cost/time feasibility assessments Travel to regional offices to implement and maintain network infrastructure Support development of strategic network direction for current and future-state environments Ensure network security aligns with industry frameworks (e.g., MARS-E) Prepare technical documentation for network infrastructure and configurations Program & Technical Experience (Preferred)

Experience with public sector, healthcare, or large enterprise IT environments Health Information Technologies, large-scale IT network implementations Configuration and management of Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco devices Network wiring, DNS/DHCP deployments, and routing infrastructure Required Skills (Ranked in Order of Importance)

5-10 years of professional networking experience Hands-on experience with network infrastructure, servers, and systems administration Strong knowledge and configuration experience with Palo Alto 3k/5k firewalls Experience configuring and managing within the SolarWinds monitoring environment Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Experience with Cisco routers/switches and Meraki wireless access points Deep understanding of networking protocols and hardware/software tools

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with HIPAA, CDC, and other compliance frameworks F5 configuration and troubleshooting SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) experience Experience with Infoblox DNS/DHCP, FORESCOUT, VMware vSphere/NSX, Cisco Umbrella Education & Certifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (8+ years in networking) CCNA or CCNE certification Preferred:

Additional certifications in relevant technologies or security frameworks
