**There is a $5,000.00 sign-on bonus for Certified Surgical Technicians** **There is a $10,000.00 sign-on bonus for Licensed Practical Nurses** JOB TITLE: Certified Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Licensed Practical Nurse JOB PURPOSE: The Certified Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Licensed Practical Nurse performs a variety of duties as a member of the surgical team during the patient's surgical intervention. EDUCATION: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education. Successful completion of an accredited educational program for Surgical Technologist and/or Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program or completion of required components to satisfy LPN licensing examination. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: New York State Surgical Technologist Certification and/or Valid New York State registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer. Completion of IV course & blood administration course within three (3) months of hire or transfer. EXPERIENCE: None. PREFERRED: One (1) year pervious Scrub Technologist experience. SHIFT: 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM , 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM | STATUS: (40 HOURS) full-time RATE : $22.57 - $25.57 per hour REQ: #042
