Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, and assist with dental x-rays.
Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent. - Completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training. - X-ray certification preferred. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. - Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures. - Prepare and set up instruments and materials needed. - Take and develop dental x-rays. - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. - Provide patients with post-operative instructions. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Schedule patient appointments and assist with front office tasks when needed.
