Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required; first-timers accepted License: GA or Compact license is required Certifications: BLS and ARRT Must-Have: - MRI Tech experience in diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, image post-processing (apparent diffusion coefficient mapping, subtraction), multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), and perfusion. Description: Candidate must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Weekend block scheduling is required. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Position requires full compliance to start on schedule. If not compliant in time, the pushback is two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Clinical screening will be conducted to determine clinical fit. If clinical passes and aligns with guidelines, the candidate will be sent for final decision. Floating to different units may be required based on staffing needs. Call requirements are in place for this position. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Holidays include New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. It is important that candidates submit core items and complete/schedule necessary labs promptly to ensure an on-time start. Local candidates are accepted. References of two supervisory individuals are preferred at the time of submission; they must be in a managerial position. Maximum request for time off is 7 days. No holiday time off requests can be made if one or two major holidays fall in the assignment period. In cases where three major holidays occur, one holiday request can be reviewed for approval. Candidates are expected to have completed all necessary onboarding requirements promptly.
