IT Project Coordinator
for a long-term contract opportunity with a local government body in Durham, NC. As a Project Coordinator, you would utilize your administrative, organizational, and communication skills to support the local government's Project Management Office with the execution of one or more large-scale enterprise software implementation projects. Were looking for someone with initiative and a can-do attitude, who can provide reliable administrative and clerical support. This is a full-time W-2 contract position, with a 37.5 hours/week schedule. The length of contract employment is anticipated through at least 18 months, in conjunction with the projects you would be supporting, but the contract may be extended. This is also a Hybrid position, requiring in-office attendance in Durham at least 1 business day per week. Responsibilities Include: Meeting scheduling for multiple parties. Minute taking and summarization for key project meetings. Relaying communication between project managers and stakeholders. Creating and sharing regular project reports. Helping with reconciliation of invoices and deliverables. Additional project administration activities as directed. Desired Qualifications: Prior experience with administrative coordination and scheduling. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Strong attention to detail and knack for organization.
