The Charge Nurse is responsible for the overall nursing care including accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls as indicated. Administers direct care as necessary. Gives and receives shift reports. Coordinates team huddle every shift and rounds twice a shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment. Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition. Assists in developing comprehensive care plans and conducting Care Conferences with residents and their loved ones. Participates in clinical and staffing call rotation. Monitors licensure and compliance of nursing team. Assisting in and Training all Nurses and L1MAs regarding Policies and Procedures. Conducting Pharmacy Audits Communicating with Management regarding staff concerns, reviews, or variances to treatment protocols. Monitoring compliance of EHR Dashboard, Call light system reports, temperature logs, and glucometer logs. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Minimum two (2) years experience in Nursing. Experience in assisted living, memory care preferred. Licensed as a Registered or Licensed Nurse in state of Missouri.
