Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our CGI team! While this position must be located within a commutable distance to one of our CGI offices in either Belton, TX (preferred location); Wausau, WI; Lafayette, LA; or Henderson, NV; a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in the office 2-3 days/week. You will perform installations and run quality assurance programs to test, identify, reproduce, and report defects in software. Conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements along with drafting, revising and approving test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy. Create test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow. Expected to coordinate with users to plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing and ensure that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved. We use technical expertise and secure solutions to help government reinvent the ways of working to improve citizen services and increase efficiency. Our work helps civil entities provide services transparently and with fewer resources. Your Future Duties And Responsibilities

Responsible for the development of test strategies and plans Guide the development of test cases/scripts, test case automation, test execution, and validation of results Influence the development and execution of the problem reporting process Develop and perform manual and automated testing using testing tools provided: Azure DevOps and TestComplete Interacts with other team members and clients to ensure quality solution Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content Share in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks Identify program deviance from standards, and share possible modifications to ensure compliance Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

2 to 4 years in quality assurance, test strategy, test planning, test execution, end-to-end integration and regression testing Manual and Automated Testing Thorough working knowledge of the entire SDLC, IT systems and processes, testing methodologies and their direct implementation to projects Thorough working knowledge of developing, maintaining, and executing test strategies/plans/cases Experience in analyzing and decomposing requirements and creating testing strategy/plan as well as testing estimates and work plan Experience detailing test plans, test cases, tracking defects, reporting status to various levels of the project organization Strong communication and interpersonal skills Effective writing skills to communicate to customers and internal CGI Partners Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience for 2-4 years Desired Qualifications/Non-Essential Skills

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $137,100.00.
