The RN Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting. This role involves managing daily nursing operations, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Key Responsibilities Include:Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure optimal care for residents. Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations. Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote professional growth. Manage medication administration schedules and ensure accurate documentation. Address resident and family concerns with compassion and professionalism. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care outcomes. Provide leadership during emergency situations and ensure proper protocols are followed. To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:As a minimum, an unencumbered State of South Dakota Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, C.P.R. Certification, and two (2) years of R.N. experience.
