We are seeking an Artificial Intelligence Specialist (AIS) to join the Gas Operations Technical Support Division, responsible for providing AI-powered solutions to Gas Plants. The role involves leveraging AI to support data-driven decisions in safety, environment, energy, efficiency, and value creation. The specialist will work closely with the Gas Business Line and other entities to manage AI projects from identification to deployment and evaluation. Duties and Responsibilities Lead multidisciplinary teams to oversee AI business cases from start to finish. Collaborate with internal and external entities to advance AI implementation in Gas. Prioritize AI projects and ensure quality of deliverables for funding. Develop a roadmap for scaling AI solutions across the Business Line. Facilitate and monitor AI development phases with stakeholders. Develop Generative AI use cases for safety, environment, operations, and maintenance. Apply statistical analysis to test hypotheses and validate results. Build and train machine learning models for specific problems, including anomaly detection and predictive models. Assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks, ensuring compliance with data privacy standards. Act as the Gas AI focal point and coordinator with other entities. Hold a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields; an advanced degree is desirable. Have at least 10 years of experience in data analytics or machine learning model development. Proficient in programming languages like Python, with experience in data cleaning, visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Strong knowledge in regression, classification, clustering, NLP, neural networks, and statistical algorithms. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Basic project management skills for data science projects. Experience in leading AI deployment projects in Oil and Gas is preferred. Knowledge of plant automation systems and real-time interfaces is a plus.
