ProDriven Brands is seeking a skilled and motivated
Data Engineer
with a passion for leveraging data, innovative technologies, and artificial intelligence (AI) to elevate our business processes. This role will support efforts to understand business needs, gathering detailed requirements, and translating them into robust, scalable integration and automation solutions across our enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have a comprehensive understanding of data integration principles and technologies. This position also involves exploring opportunities to harness data insights and contribute to AI-driven enhancements. Presently this position is in a hybrid status with a
minimum of 1 day a month
in the office for collaboration, teamwork, and business needs. Responsibilities
Business Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather and document integration requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications for integration development. Solution Design and Development: Design and create data integration solutions. Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines. Develop real-time and batch integration workflows and APIs. Collaborate with Salesforce developers for system integrations. Work with ERP teams to build effective integrations. Utilize HVR for real-time data replication. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans. Participate in code reviews. Create and maintain integration documentation. Perform other duties as assigned. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize data pipelines. Stay abreast of advancements in integration technologies. Contribute to the development of data engineering standards. Support efforts to evaluate new tools for data integration. Assist in assessing emerging technologies for data integration. Qualifications
Education, Licenses, and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred. Preferred certifications: In relevant integration or cloud technologies. Years of Experience and Knowledge: 3-5 years of experience in data engineering. 3-5 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse, Matillion ETL, Power BI, HVR, Jitterbit. Skills and Abilities: Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint skills. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. Strong understanding of data integration patterns. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated interest in AI/ML applications. Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other integration tools and technologies. Knowledge of DevOps practices. Experience with AI/ML platforms. Experience working with JDE data structures. Understanding of Salesforce APIs. Travel Requirements: 0% ~ 10% travel domestically required. EEO Statement
