Local contractor in need of Laborers with pipe and trench experience. Long term project in East Amherst, NY. Duties will include the following:
Dig trenches, lay concrete, and dig drainage ditches Unload and load materials, equipment, and tools from and onto trucks Clean and prepare construction sites Lay water lines, storm water lines, and sanitary sewer Operate hand and power tools, vibratory compactors, small hoist, and basic survey equipment Perform safety inspections of work areas Assist with the construction of pipe sites Ensure the proper fittings Clean feeder pipes
