Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to work for our company.
Summary:
Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency. Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies) Ensures the reliability, security, and performance of complex enterprise IT infrastructure supporting Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x and integrated cloud and on-premises systems. Will work across infrastructure development, operations and modernization effort. Will design, deploy, monitor, and optimize enterprise systems while ensuring compliance with federal security and configuration standards. Provides hands-on technical support for the design, provisioning, configuration, operation, and sustainment of enterprise systems supporting Oracle EBS environments. Performs system monitoring, tuning, and maintenance to ensure performance, availability, and scalability across test, development, and production environments. Leads and supports patching, upgrades, and system refreshes in coordination with cybersecurity and DBA teams. Develops and maintains documentation including architecture diagrams, system configuration, and standard operating procedures. Participates in infrastructure modernization, including supporting migration to hybrid or cloud-based environments (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or AWS). Will collaborate with system architects and engineers to design and implement infrastructure solutions that align with evolving mission requirements. Supports business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including backup validation and system recovery procedures. Maintains secure and compliant environments by applying STIGs, addressing vulnerabilities identified in ACAS scans, and participating in audit readiness efforts. May assist in the development and support of secure network configurations, including SIPRNET or classified environments. Requirements:

IAT-II security certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, CISSA, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP Must hold a DFARS 252.239-7001 Information Assurance Contractor Training and
Certification. Must hold one of the following certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Foundations 2020 Certified Associate, Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Oracle WebLogic Server 12c Administrator, Oracle Java SE 8 Programmer I, Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Essentials (OEM 12c), Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) 12c R1: Fundamentals, Oracle Planning 202x Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), and Oracle Identity Governance 12c: Essentials. Must have 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or enterprise IT infrastructure roles. Must have experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server database administration and analysis support. Experience with both Windows Server 2016 and HP-UX 11.3.x operating systems Experience with performance tuning, PL/SQL, database backup and recovery, and systems analysis Experience with Oracle Database 11g, Oracle WebLogic, and Oracle Enterprise Manager Experience with Oracle stored procedures, database performance tuning, E-R database design principle and methodology. Experience with system documentation. Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration and Oracle Enterprise Manager. Hands-on experience with Windows 2016 and operating systems, SQL Server 2012 database administration, T-SQL programming, database performance tuning, backup and recovery, systems analysis, security practices and system documentation.
