Wespath, recognized as a 2017-2025 Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® and a 2018-2025 National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®, has an opportunity for an Associate UX/Product Researcher supports the product and user experience teams by conducting research and data analysis to better understand user needs, behaviors, and market trends. The Associate UX/Product Researcher will be responsible for gathering insights through secondary research and data analysis, while also contributing to and occasionally leading primary research efforts such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, eager to learn, and passionate about helping teams build products that create value for users and the organization.

More specifically, as an Associate UX/Product Researcher you will have the following key responsibilities: Conduct secondary research, including competitor analysis, trend reviews, and synthesis of internal and external data sources to support product and strategic decisions.S Support or lead early-stage research activities such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and observational research. Analyze user feedback, behavioral data, and market research to generate actionable insights. Assist in organizing and maintaining research documentation, tools, and assets. Translate research findings into presentations and summary reports for cross-functional stakeholders. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and analysts to define problems, inform solutions, and validate ideas. Monitor best practices and emerging trends in UX research and data-driven design, bringing new ideas to the team. Participate in initiatives to build a stronger research culture and improve processes across the department. Contribute to the development of user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts that communicate user insights. Associate UX/Product Researcher Benefits and Compensation:

Hybrid working arrangement (1-2 days per week in the Wespath office). the compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant's qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown. #LI-CW1 #LI-hybrid

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, human-computer interaction, data analysis, sociology, marketing, design) or equivalent work/project experience. Demonstrated curiosity, willingness to ask questions, and desire to grow in the field of product and UX research. Experience conducting research (e.g., through coursework, internships, volunteer projects, or personal initiatives). Exposure to qualitative and quantitative research methods. Proficiency with common research or analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, survey platforms, etc.). Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with tools such as Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop, Figma, or user analytics platforms. Experience working in a cross-functional or collaborative team environment. Ability to synthesize information and communicate findings clearly.
