Responsibilities:
Waste Management Reviews: Assess recyclers, disposal facilities, and other waste management contractors against defined criteria for approval as Company vendors and maintains audit data and reports Collect documents of waste generation and disposition. Produces summaries and reports as required Intranet Website Maintenance: Help to maintain the Company Environment Health and Safety intranet website to communicate EHS requirements to Company employees and managers. Update online program documents Employee EHS Engagement: Assist in the development of communications and training aids on the environment and workplace health and safety for Company. Contribute to the monthly EHS newsletter Contribute to the creation and distribution of brief videos, posters, and emails Participate in special communications projects as needed Data Management and Reporting: Work with the Environment, Health, and Safety staff to ensure accurate reporting on compliance and training across national operations. Gather and process data: Track data completion and operational results against corporate and legal standards Follow up with field staff on data gaps Draft reports to operational groups, corporate management, and regulatory agencies Environmental Site Remediation: Help to review remediation-related data for sites with historical environmental contamination Review periodic compliance reports related to environmental remediation projects for submission to regulatory agencies. Regulatory Tracking: Field incoming data on environmental and workplace safety regulatory changes potentially affecting Company operations. Work with subject matter experts to assess impacts on the Company.
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate compliance-related activities with all levels of Company personnel, suppliers, and other contractors Expert PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Gmail, and Google Apps) Minimum 3 years' experience working with Excel at an expert level. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Exceptional written and oral communications skills Experience in telecommunications a plus General knowledge of environmental requirements applicable to the telecommunications industry is a plus. Experience in waste recycling and disposal and environmental site remediation a plus Ability to meet demanding deadlines Adaptive to change, open to different viewpoints, able to innovate, and think outside the box Team player
Pay Transparency:
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is:
$33.00 - $36.00/hr.
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
