We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Critical Software Engineer to join our team, playing a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge safety-critical software applications. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the development of safety-critical software applications, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. Collaborate effectively with systems, testing, and development teams to integrate safety features seamlessly. Create and maintain Level of Rigor artifacts necessary for compliance with safety standards. Utilize modeling tools such as Simulink or SCADE, converting models to C/C++ for implementation. Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in systems safety software engineering or a related role. Proven experience in safety-critical software development, with hands-on experience in relevant technologies. Experience with standards such as ISO 26262, MIL-STD-882E, and ASIL-D is highly preferred.
Work Environment:
This is an on-site role with the option for a local hybrid work arrangement, providing flexibility while maintaining collaboration and engagement with the team.
