The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team with a focus on platform modernization, multi-tenant innovation, and seamless delivery. This role is pivotal in advancing digital transformation efforts, including large-scale data conversions and cloud migrations. The VP will be accountable for setting a culture of engineering excellence, hands-on leadership, and accountability, as well as for the financial and cost optimization of the engineering and applications budget. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' progressive technology leadership experience, with a strong background in P&C insurance, modern technology, and cloud and SaaS solutions. The role requires deep expertise in platform modernization, digital transformation, and complex data conversions, as well as a proven track record in managing cost accountability and optimizing engineering operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data security, privacy compliance, and regulatory frameworks, and be proficient in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, microservices architecture, and modern modular system design. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred. Cloud certifications or Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus.
