We are seeking a CMM Programmer/Quality Control Inspector to join our weekend team. Work 3 days a week (12-hour days), get paid for 40 hours & enjoy 4 days off!
Responsibilities of the position:
Perform first article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections.
Responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure the quality of our products meets customer and industry standards .
Performing quality inspection, applying quality inspection techniques, and identifying nonconforming hardware.
Record and log measurements for parts on applicable form (typically AS9102 form).
Prepare required documents to customer specifications.
Communicate & collaborate in the quality lab with other inspectors as well as with shop operations.
Offer solutions to advance the progress and modernization of the quality department.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in programming and operating CMM machines and inspection equipment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Proficient with mechanical tools and surface plate inspections.
Experience with metrology equipment and software.
Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
