Insero Talent Solutions is recruiting a Product Innovation Manager for an electronics manufacturing company in Rochester, NY. QUALIFICATIONS : M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, RF Engineering, or similar field. 10+ years of experience in product development or innovation within the electronics industry, with a proven track record of successful product launches. Experience should include at least 3 years of team management. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on identifying opportunities and producing results. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The product innovation manager is responsible for leading the development and enhancement of ultrasound technologies and products. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES : Lead product innovation, overseeing the development of new ultrasonic products from initial concept to product launch. Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, innovation and continuous learning. Define research goals and develop project specifications and feasibility in cooperation with management, production, sales, and marketing staff. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Stay abreast of technological advancements, particularly in electronics and ultrasonics, and use the knowledge to enhance and differentiate product offerings. Utilize project management skills to track progress, manage resources, and meet timelines and budgets for product development projects. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define product specifications that align with technical and business goals. Develop prototypes that validate product concepts, ensuring that performance and reliability requirements are met. Help define component specifications and assist with identifying suppliers. Collaborate with Manufacturing to transfer products from engineering to production. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines throughout the product lifecycle. Drive continuous product-improvement initiatives. Be the local subject matter expert on ultrasound technology and applications, providing internal technical support. Other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $130,000-$170,000 per year
