Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Software Developer to join our IT team at Allied World. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications and solutions that support our insurance business. As a key technical resource, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions while mentoring junior developers and driving technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications that support business objectives.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Architect scalable, efficient, and secure solutions for web and software applications.
·
Write, review, and optimize clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
·
Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and code reviews.
·
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve critical application issues in a timely manner.
·
Drive the adoption of new technologies, tools, and processes to improve team productivity and system performance.
·
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with other business systems.
·
Ensure adherence to software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, including testing, deployment, and documentation.
·
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
