Job Title:
React JS + AWS Developer (Environment Deployment Specialist)
About the Role: We're seeking a React JS developer with strong AWS experience - especially with AWS Amplify and environment-based deployments - to help us scale our application for new clients.
Our application is a full-stack React app built in AWS Amplify, utilizing services like DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, S3, etc. For compliance and security reasons, each client gets their own completely isolated instance of the application, deployed either in our AWS environment or within the client's AWS account.
You will play a key role in streamlining and executing these environment-specific deployments while also contributing to the React JS front-end as needed.
What You'll Do:
Manage and enhance a React JS application built in AWS Amplify. Spin up and manage isolated AWS Amplify environments, including all dependent services. Deploy full application stacks into multiple AWS accounts - both internal and client-owned. Help automate environment setup and CI/CD pipelines to reduce deployment time and ensure consistency. Maintain secure and compliant deployments, tailored per client.
What We're Looking For:
Strong JavaScript/React experience. Extensive experience with AWS Amplify and its environment/deployment lifecycle. Familiarity with AWS CLI and Amplify CLI. Experience working with core AWS services like: DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, S3, etc. Strong knowledge of Rest APIs. Understanding of how to manage deployments across multiple AWS accounts/environments. Git-based CI/CD workflows (Amplify, GitHub pipelines). Strong Project Management background. Experience managing the SDLC. Attention to Detail and Adherence to Deadlines.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience automating Amplify environment provisioning and linking backend services. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation). Worked in environments requiring strict compliance and data isolation.
Why This Role is Important: As demand for our application grows, we need to ensure every client has their own clean, secure, and fully functional instance of the app - either hosted by us or within their AWS environment. You'll be instrumental in helping us scale this vision and make onboarding new clients seamless.
