At Orion, we are searching for a Clinical Informatics Analyst with a background in nursing.
The opportunity focuses on coordination and oversight of all activities associated with the implementation and application of the clinical software, Netsmart myAvatar.
LOCATION
West Texas
RESPONSIBILITIES
Resolve support and service requests promptly and effectively, adhering to HIS policies and procedures. Perform system maintenance, contribute to the departmental knowledge base, and document existing systems and resolutions. Coordinate with hospital staff and departments to ensure alignment and productivity. Deliver excellent customer service to stakeholders relying on HIS department services. Engage in assigned projects, providing updates to stakeholders and contributing to improvements in system operations. Conduct end-user training for clinical staff and assist with system implementation and go-live activities. Develop and maintain adequate configuration documentation to ensure rapid deployment or repair of existing software components to ensure business continuity. EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in healthcare informatics and clinical workflows Demonstrated knowledge in Netsmart myAvatar (or similar Behavioral Health software) Proficiency in Orders Management, Pharmacy and Medication Administration, Nursing and Physician documentation, and Bed Management systems Experience with Cerner Millennium and end-user training for clinical staff Experience with system implementation and go-live preferred Experience in Behavioral Health facilities and clinical informatics, with preference for registered nurses Registered Nurse with current license for state of Texas preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Willingness to relocate to West Texas
