Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by proving them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.
Summary of Position:
This elevated position plays an impactful role in the day-to-day operations of the Patient Service Representative team and function. The Patient Services department responsibilities include general registration functions across a network of imaging clinics. The Lead, Patient Services Representative utilizes leadership skills to support staff, solve problems, and make decisions. Oversees the quality and quantity of workflow to ensure completion of work assignments. Will assist with implementing and maintaining industry best practice standards to ensure optimal revenue reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and a positive patient experience in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Job Responsibilities: Assists in the facilitation of training new hires and other training initiatives Perform quality assurance reviews on associates, document findings, and provide information to leadership Assist in the preparation of periodic reports crucial to the leadership decision making process Knowledge of revenue cycle components and their role in the ability to impact the overall process Identify and address areas of improvement and provide recommendations to improve procedures; enhance workflows Monitors work volume, efficiency standards and other metrics for the registration process. Make recommendations for changes when necessary Provide a high level of customer service, taking personal responsibility for a positive patient experience. Provide suggestions and give input into both short- and long-term departmental plan Work with leadership to establish and monitor personal and department goals/plans Make recommendations to leadership regarding items that affect budget such as increase or decrease staffing needs, equipment and supply purchase and overtime usage Attend regular RCM/Lead PSR meetings as required Performs all registration functions, serving as a role model and subject matter expert in all functional areas of the registration process Other Duties as assigned Experience/Skill Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required Must be able to read, write, and speak in English Ability to work in a production driven environment Must be able to multitask in a high-volume environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance products, and CPT, ICD-10 coding Demonstrate the ability to facilitate a team and be a team member Demonstrate the ability to identify opportunities for improvement Problem-solving skills to critically analyze data and recommend alternative plan of action Ability to maintain positive customer service Ability to establish effective working relations with office staff and employees in a team environment. Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality Effective prioritization skills and ability to manage time independently Communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs including Excel, Power Point, and Word Ability to analyze and interpret key performance metrics and performance reports Participate in on-call rotation with other Lead Patient Service Representatives to support sites outside of routine business hours as required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with all levels of leadership Exhibit strong relationship building and diplomacy skills Act as a Servant Leader with customer service aptitude Receptive to receiving and providing thoughtful productive feedback
Compensation is between $23 and $28 per hour
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Invision Sally Jobe's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position will accept applications on an ongoing basis, and will remain open until filled.
