Job Title:

Director of Global Supply Chain Planning

Location:

On-site (4 days/week), with flexibility based on performance

Compensation:

$180,000 – $240,000 base salary

Type:

Direct Hire

Travel:

10–20% (U.S. and Canada)

Reports To:

Vice President of Golobal Supply Chain

Team Size:

3 direct reports, 9 total, with oversight of ~20 matrixed employees

About the Role:

We’re seeking a highly strategic and technically skilled

Director of Global Supply Chain Planning

to lead and transform a global supply chain planning function within a complex manufacturing environment. This is a mission-critical role with a mandate to elevate planning and scheduling processes from a foundational level to best-in-class maturity across enterprise master planning, inventory control, and ERP execution.

This leader will be responsible for developing and driving end-to-end planning strategies—including supplier integration, production scheduling, and inventory management—and shaping the digital roadmap in partnership with IT and other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Supply Chain Planning Leadership:

Drive end-to-end supply chain planning strategy and execution across global operations (U.S. and Canada).

Oversee enterprise master planning and inventory control.

Guide the development and implementation of scalable planning and scheduling processes.

Own planning transformation roadmap—from baseline to world-class.

Inventory Management:

Build and lead a high-performing inventory management function.

Design and deploy inventory management strategies and tools aligned with customer demand and production requirements.

ERP/Oracle Transformation:

Define and direct supply chain execution capabilities within the Oracle ERP system.

Lead digital transformation initiatives in collaboration with IT.

Evaluate and optimize ERP usage across planning operations (SAP experience considered; Oracle strongly ).

Team Development & Leadership:

Directly manage a team of 3 functional leaders (9 total), with influence over 20+ matrixed team members.

Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and certification through APICS/CPIM.

Mentor and upskill team members, ensuring alignment with best practices.

Cross-functional Leadership:

Partner with Engineering, Sourcing, and Operations to ensure planning alignment with product design and production needs.

Act as a key voice in enterprise supply chain strategy and supplier engagement.

Operational Improvements:

Lead planning improvements for a complex manufacturing environment, managing over 60,000 SKUs.

Analyze demand trends, supply base risks, and capacity planning to support business growth.

Qualifications:

Required:

10+ years of progressive experience in global supply chain planning within manufacturing.

Proven success in leading supply chain planning transformations (0 → 1 → 2 maturity model).

Deep expertise in ERP systems, particularly

Oracle

(execution, deployment, customization).

Strong background in inventory control and demand planning.

Prior experience as a

Master Planner .

Active

CPIM certification (APICS)

required.

Experience managing complex planning environments (e.g., 50,000+ part numbers).

:

MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

Experience leading supply chain functions across North American manufacturing sites.

Familiarity with trade compliance, global logistics (understanding, not ownership), and cross-functional influence.

Work Environment:

In-office presence required at least 4 days/week (flexible based on performance).

Travel up to 20% to U.S. and Canadian manufacturing sites.
