Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Director of the Birthing Center

to lead our team in providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and families. This is a leadership position that will involve overseeing the operations of our Birthing Center, ensuring high standards of care, and fostering a compassionate and collaborative environment. As the Director, you will play a key role in shaping the direction and quality of maternal and neonatal care within our facility.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the Birthing Center, including staff management, patient care, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure safe and high-quality care for mothers and newborns. Lead and mentor a team of nurses, midwives, physicians, and support staff. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction. Manage the budget and resource allocation for the Birthing Center. Promote a patient-centered culture and ensure an exceptional experience for families. Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices. Stay current with trends in maternal health and make recommendations for enhancements to services. Build and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare organizations, and educational institutions. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (master's preferred). Current RN license in Ohio. At least 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role in a maternity or birthing center. Strong understanding of maternal and newborn care, safety standards, and healthcare regulations. Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. A passion for providing high-quality care to mothers and babies.
