We're looking for a dedicated and reliable part time Custodian to join our Park Services Division. In this vital role, you'll ensure that our buildings and facilities remain spotless, safe, and ready for action.
What You'll Do:
Keep Park District facilities in tip-top shape by performing routine cleaning of restrooms, offices, lobbies, and public areas Operate custodial equipment like floor buffers and carpet cleaners Perform minor maintenance and report any safety or repair issues Assist with set-up and take-down for programs and special events Help maintain outdoor facility areas and ensure safety standards are followed What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) 2+ years custodial or facility maintenance experience (preferred) Valid driver's license and insurance (required) Working knowledge of sanitation practices, cleaning equipment, and chemical safety CPR/AED certification (preferred) Willingness to work some weekends and holidays
