ECS is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to supporting cutting-edge technology for law enforcement and scientific organizations. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the design, deployment, testing, certification, operations, patching, addressing interoperability issues, of DevSecOps infrastructure tools, including all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies.
We are seeking a creative problem solver, who enjoys the challenge of tackling technical tasks and problems with little oversight, enabling the team to release their application optimally, and connecting dots to think at the broader, solution level. A strong desire and aptitude for learning is a must with a proven ability to adapt and drive change - our solution is rapidly evolving, along with new requirements, technologies, and an evolving threat landscape. We seek a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to implement new technologies and systems in a team environment where deadlines are important. integral to data operations for the development and integration of a variety of data types across a wide range of client data sets and source systems.
Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer include but are not limited to:
Work closely with other engineers, analysts, and architects as well as product owners and managers to establish, configure, test, document, implement, maintain, continually improve and automate operating systems, application software, system management tools, data, and processes Support, monitor, and manage day-to-day operations of systems, applications, infrastructure that depend on data, ensuring that the systems are available for processing and securely transferring to its appropriate location, in a timely manner. As well as supporting maintenance of systems and tools that reside such systems such as upgrades, patches, configuration changes, etc. Confidently, proactively, and collaboratively seek opportunities to define and improve applications as well as secure continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes, automation, tools, integrations, and related programming languages Help cultivate an environment that promotes cost-effective, secure, quality engineering, customer service excellence, innovation, collaboration, and teamwork US citizenship and active Top-Secret Clearance 5+ years of experience in a CI/CD or DevOps role
developing, implementing and maintaining well continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for solutions delivery using cloud well-architected framework best practices, cloud provider native services, automation, infrastructure as code, cloud-native technologies (microservices, containerization/container orchestrators, APIs), typical CI/CD pipeline related tools, security tools, Ansible, repositories, and the ALM suites of tools 5+ years of experience
in a role developing, implementing and maintaining pipeline as code implementations including setting up of CI/CD environments, execution of application tests, compilation of code in and deployment of code package to their respective environments 5
+ years of experience with Linux OS . Comfort navigating in Linux and intermediate understanding of the Linux OS architecture. 5+ years of system engineering experience
including experience in install, manage, and maintain systems for large, complex systems and data sets, including but not limited to scripting (shell, bash). Proficient in data manipulation (Python, SQL), data extraction, transformation, load (ETL) processes, and testing tools
