What are we looking for in a Client Service Navigator?

Serves as a Client Service Representative for the Youth and Family Tree and CCBHC grants. The Client Service Representative provides support and coordinates services for individuals seeking services. This position will work with clients who present for initial assessment during same day access. Engagement of clients in the reception area will be key in assisting front office staff, and welcoming and engaging the client while they wait to meet with the intake specialist. For clients in Walla Walla the client service representative would provide education and referral to the client and/or family members who may benefit from the Youth and Family Tree services. The schedule for this position will be Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Client Service Navigator duties may include: Greet clients. Assist with checking in at the front desk, make sure any additional needs such as interpreter services etc are initiated. Ensure client is seen regardless of insurance or ability to pay, or citizenship status. Managing the reception area this may include assisting individuals with utilizing the tablet for the OWL platform, downloading the app on their phone, and completion of the screeners before they meet with the intake specialist. Assist the client with filling out required pre intake paperwork. Complete ROI's which may include but not limited to primary care, probation officer, family members, etc. Ensure clients are seen in a timely manner. If client is waiting longer than 30 minutes and there is not someone available based on the contingency plan offer the client a fast pass. Provide a warm handoff to the intake specialist this may include assisting the client to the tele-health room and making sure adequately utilize the technology. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in behavioral science or related field OR certified peer support counselor Must be eligible for registration as Agency Affiliated Counselor Must have valid driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, and three years of safe driving experience In compliance with state and federal law, Comprehensive Healthcare requires all candidates to complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
