The

Database Administrator / Application Developer

is responsible for providing technical expertise and administration of databases, web sites, and custom application environments.

Responsibilities

Developing, maintaining scripting, automation, and coding in a secure manner

Administering Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows

Reviewing, evaluating, designing, implementing and maintaining databases

Writing codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures

Developing and formulating standards, procedures, and conventions for database use

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent

4+ years of demonstrated experience managing and administering database solutions (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server 2019, Microsoft SQL Server 2022, etc.)

4+ years of demonstrated experience developing, maintaining and administering Microsoft ASP.Net applications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert, etc.)

4+ years of demonstrated experience developing, maintaining and administering Microsoft on-premise SharePoint server and associated web sites

Microsoft Database Administrator Certification (e.g., MCSA for SQL 2016 (no more than 4 years old), role-based MS Azure Database Administrator Associate, etc.).

Ability to pass T2 Security Investigation

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficiency in developing, maintaining scripting, automation, and coding in a secure manner

Demonstrate experience in performing in both on-premise systems and cloud hosted (e.g., MS Azure or Amazon Web Services) environments

Demonstrated experience administering Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows

Demonstrate experience performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills

Demonstrated experience reviewing, evaluating, designing, implementing and maintaining databases

Demonstrated experience identifying data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, providing data flow diagrams and documents the process

Demonstrated experience writing codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures

Demonstrated experience developing and formulating standards, procedures, and conventions for database use

Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
