This position serves a federal law enforcement agency located in Clarksburg, WV.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough security audits, risk analyses, and application-level vulnerability assessments, including security code reviews.
Design and implement innovative technical solutions to effectively mitigate identified security vulnerabilities.
Research and analyze emerging threats to identify potential new attack vectors.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline; or equivalent practical experience. Additional experience may compensate for formal education.
8-12 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience.
A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, as well as work independently to formulate innovative solutions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
DOD Secret Clearance is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
Experience with software development tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks relevant to JIRA.
