Senior Backend .NET Developer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience working on project teams, with a proven ability to work independently. You must possess strong problem- solving and communication skills, be proficient in agile methodologies and Git practices, and have extensive experience with MySǪL. Knowledge of MariaDB and full-stack development is a plus, as is experience working with 3rd party offshore teams. Additionally, the candidate must have some knowledge of cloud microservices architecture to support the development of distributed systems. This role is critical for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable server-side applications that drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities Develop and Maintain Applications : Design, develop, and maintain high- performance, scalable, and responsive server-side applications using .NET technologies, including C# and ASP.NET. Must be able to take ownership of existing .Net applications. Collaborate with Teams : Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user- facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring a seamless user experience. Database Management : Design and implement efficient data storage solutions, with a strong focus on MySǪL; knowledge of MariaDB is a plus.
Microservices Integration : Apply knowledge of cloud microservices architecture to develop and integrate distributed systems, leveraging technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms like Azure or AWS when applicable. Performance Optimization : Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs. Code Quality : Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to maintain high coding standards.
Feature Development : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to define, design, and ship new features.
Stay Current : Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices, including advancements in cloud microservices, to continuously improve development processes. Process Improvement : Contribute to the enhancement of development workflows and operational procedures.
Offshore Collaboration : Work effectively with 3rd party offshore teams, when applicable, to ensure seamless collaboration and project delivery.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : 5-7 years of experience as a backend developer, with a focus on .NET technologies Database Skills : Extensive experience with MySǪL; knowledge of MariaDB is a plus. Development Practices : Proficient in agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and version control systems, particularly Git.
