Exciting Opportunity in South Bend, IN - Customer Service Rep with Manufacturing Experience!!
This position plays a vital role in delivering exceptional support to our clients and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner Provide accurate product and service information to support customer needs Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries and offer additional assistance Process sales orders, purchase order acknowledgements, and advanced shipping notices with accuracy through EDI and internal systems Coordinate with the shipping department to communicate lead times and delivery schedules to customers and the sales team Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure customer satisfaction Identify and communicate upselling or cross-selling opportunities to support sales growth Ensure all client interactions comply with company policies and service standards Accurately process and manage orders through Shopify Qualifications & Experience
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred Prior customer service experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred Familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes Experience with Shopify and order processing Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Sage 100 ERP Understanding of shipping and receiving processes Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong typing and data entry skills Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Outbound calling or sales experience is a plus, but not required
