Spear is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
BigCommerce Developer to manage and support our ecommerce platform ( BigCommerce ) and ERP system ( NetSuite ). This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, integration, and performance of these systems to support our ecommerce business processes, including product data management, order fulfillment, inventory syncing, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary administrator for
BigCommerce , including product/catalog management, theme configuration, app integrations, and performance monitoring. Support and maintain
NetSuite
(if applicable), assisting with data integrity, customizations, user roles/permissions, and basic scripting or workflows. Manage and monitor integrations between BigCommerce, NetSuite, and other third-party systems (e.g. Avalara, Cybersource, etc.). Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service teams to support business needs and resolve system-related issues. Monitor system performance and uptime; proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues. Assist with user training and documentation for internal teams using BigCommerce and/or NetSuite. Coordinate with external vendors or consultants for larger projects or technical support. Participate in testing and implementing system upgrades, new features, or integrations. Maintain data accuracy and ensure compliance with business processes and policies. Qualifications:
4+ years of hands-on experience with
BigCommerce
administration (required) Experience with
NetSuite
or other ERP systems (Highly preferred) Familiarity with ecommerce workflows, including order processing, inventory management, and product merchandising Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience with system integrations and APIs is a plus Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and website configuration (preferred but not required) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience with ecommerce analytics, shipping/tax tools, or CRM/marketing platforms is a plus Preferred Tools & Technologies:
