The Practice Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day practice operations of Medicine Medical Director at Wyckoff Doctors - 1610 Dekalb Ave. In this role the successful candidate is highly motivated and comfortable overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of a physician practice. The practice coordinator will report to the Manager of Wyckoff Doctors at 1610 Myrtle Avenue.
Complies with all federal, state and local regulation Coordinates workflow between front end, clinical and other support staff and ensures an efficient patient through put. Provides an ongoing assessment of practice operations with suggestions for improvement as needed. Assists with all back-office functions as needed including but not limited to; address patient calls, patient check in/ check out, scheduling of ancillary tests and follows up appointments, assist with the completion of any documents, obtaining any necessary authorization and/or referrals. Collaborates with Office Manager at Wyckoff Doctors to ensure that administrative, operational and financial expectations are aligned. Responsible for requesting supplies Act as a scribe if needed. Ensures the delivery of patient-centered care by demonstrating the key behaviors associated with a culture of service. Attends regular staff meetings for feedback and problem solving. Follows HR policies and procedures updates in a timely manner. Investigates documents and resolves all patients, and provider issues/complaints related to Medical Director's panel. Escalates as appropriate to Office Manager at Wyckoff Doctors-1610 Dekalb Avenue. Ensures practice's compliance with all Revenue Cycle policies and procedures. Managing the day-to-day functions of the sessional practice. Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA regulations as well as all compliance and safety guidelines. Performs all other duties ae required. Aligns customer service goals to assure one standard of care. Fosters and encourages a culture of service to ensure highest levels of patient, staff and provider satisfaction. Provides coverage for staff as needed to ensure efficient practice operations.
