About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Vice President of Engineering who will be instrumental in guiding our transition from R&D to successful product development and commercialization. As a vital member of our executive team, you will lead and influence engine and generator development projects, contributing to our vision of transforming the industry.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background, holding at least a BS in Mechanical Engineering, with an MSME or Ph.D. highly preferred. Your experience should showcase success in rotary/diesel engine development, heavy fuel engine calibration, as well as power generation and storage electronics.
This role requires exceptional leadership, as you will manage and grow a talented engineering team. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic oversight, technical direction, and inspiring leadership in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
While familiarity with software tools such as SolidWorks, Labview, Mastercam, Converge, Matlab, GT Suite, and ANSYS is advantageous, it is your leadership qualities and soft skills that will set you apart. We are seeking a collaborative, motivating leader who excels in delegation and possesses strong people skills.
We value individuals who are quick learners, open communicators, and proactive in their approach; those who are excited by the opportunity to innovate within our sector. Strong presentation skills, a high motivation for achievement, and the capacity to build consensus while being a great listener will be essential in this role.
