We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for Quality Control Inspector / Administrative Assistant at our Mountain Dale, New York facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following - Other duties may be assigned :
Quality Control Inspector Function : Inspecting output samples using company derived methods such as measuring dimensions and hardness and visual inspection comparing to established standards. Recording inspection results inputting quality and rework data into the quality database Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs when needed Using gauges such as calipers and hardness testers to measure processed product quality. Assisting the collection and compiling quality data when needed. Assist in the determination of root causes of product defects. Verify and assure that all QC measurement equipment is calibrated. Capable of lifting 40 lbs. Administrative Assistant Function -
Supports the Office Manager, Supervisor and Plant Manager:
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and, scans as needed. Assists in the preparation of shipping documents. Assists in the ongoing management of all inventory and supplies. Requirements :
Working knowledge of office equipment, e.g., computers, printers and, scanners. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Outlook in particular). Ability to prioritize work. Good written and verbal communication skills. Education and/or Experience :
High School Diploma or GED AS College degree or equivalent a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Manufacturing. Fast paced.
We offer a generous compensation package, which includes:
Hourly wage $18.00p/h - $22.00 depending on experience, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401K, Vacation & sick/personal days and Life insurance.
$250.00 SIGN-ON BONUS
