CICS Systems Programmer

is seeking a
CICS Systems Programmer.
This role will be responsible for installing and maintaining CICS and supporting software utilities. Standard Day Shift: Occasional after-hours support (may include weekends) Rotational on-call.
Hybrid onsite but willing to consider remote candidates.
Required Qualifications of the CICS Systems Programmer: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies. Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other job-related field or years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree REXX & Assembler programming are great tools to have Hands on experience with the latest z/OS Versions and Release levels and Products including CICS TS V5.6 & V6.1, CPSM, CICS Explorer, SMF, JCL, SMPE, TSO, SDSF, RACF, SVC Dumps, MQ, CA Sysview, TCP/IP, CAFC, IPCS, DB2, IMS, VSAM. Mainframe Disaster Recovery / Data Center Rotations Work with IBM and vendor utilities and be able to work with various technical groups Proficient in the use of JCL and working with various vendor utility programs. Debugging experience, knowledge of COBOL, Assembler, and CICS API programming Responsibilities of the CICS Systems Programmer:
Daily support and upkeep of the Mainframe CICS Environment and supporting products and processes. Currently running 425 CICS regions (stand alone environment).
