Position Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented Aerospace Painting Technician to prep and paint precision aerospace and ground support equipment.
No experience is required
- we offer
paid on-the-job training . This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, appearance, and performance of mission-critical parts.
Key Responsibilities
Clean, prep, mask, prime, and paint aerospace components
Apply coatings using HVLP spray equipment and other tools (training provided)
Read and follow work instructions, safety protocols, and process documentation
Conduct visual inspections for surface defects or coating inconsistencies
Maintain a clean and organized paint booth and workspace
Coordinate with the production team to ensure workflow efficiency and deadlines
Track materials used and report any supply needs
Follow proper procedures for chemical and paint disposal
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety guidelines
Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
Dependable work ethic and consistent attendance
Comfortable standing for extended periods and working with hands
Ability to wear PPE (personal protective equipment), including respirators
Prior experience in manufacturing or automotive/aerospace painting is a plus - but not required
Benefits:
